I was working on my car last night and when I started it up the pipes from the catalact converter back were glowing, and the exhaust catback had flames coming out of it. Think the C.C. is taking a ****. Looking at getting a midpipe but heard that you need to upgrade the stock ecu.

What I want to know is if I could use a midpipe with my stock ecu? I don't have the money right now to buy a PFC. What do you guys think?

If you can keep your BOOST to stock levels (no more then 10 PSI) then you should be ok. What are your other mods?
