I was working on my car last night and when I started it up the pipes from the catalact converter back were glowing, and the exhaust catback had flames coming out of it. Think the C.C. is taking a ****. Looking at getting a midpipe but heard that you need to upgrade the stock ecu. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

What I want to know is if I could use a midpipe with my stock ecu? I don't have the money right now to buy a PFC. What do you guys think?

I dont think that you need to. Acouple of local guys and i did it and our cars ran just fine. Plus if you want a mid-pipe iv got one for sale. PM or email me.

If you can keep your BOOST to stock levels (no more then 10 PSI) then you should be ok. What are your other mods?

Arnetts7 01-06-2004 02:10 PM

FMIC, intake, DP, Catback, will have boost controller & pulley on soon

rfreeman27 01-06-2004 03:19 PM
