the 89's have a redline that starts at 8000 so me to revving to 8500 is like you revving to 7500 on the tach :sneaky: my car sounds MEAN at 8500

Well in my piston powered mustangs I run the revs up pretty often. My 2.3 sees 5700 rpms shifting while I shift around 6200 or so on my 5.0. It seems to keep pulling good. But I have removed the air silencer and advanced the timing some.
