Damn.. I love how you just have to tap the shifter up or down in a sequential tranny. It seems like it would save time too... Too bad I cant afford one..

i mean for $4900 if i get the whole six speed that would be pretty damn cool
That doesn't look like a sequential. The HKS is sequential, and it comes assembled.

The Greddy says H pattern, which isn't sequential. Ok, I'll chip in with you for the HKS, but we'll get one for a 2nd gen, and I'll hold onto it to make sure it's safe.

Any dogg type transmission is sequential.. You pull the shifter back the coggs engage and your in the next gear with out the clutch.. I wouldn't do this everyday driving, but it makes for some damn fast shifting when your racing.. The strait cut gears are also much stronger, but much much more noise than the helical gears on a normal mission..

I thought so, but I remember hearing that the Guru transmission wasn't. I guess I learn a few things every day.

Well there are sequential transmissions, IE. you can shift gears with out the clutch, and there are sequential shifters that allow you to just pull back and upshift, pull back again and go in to the next gear kinda like a video game... then you push forward to down shift... A motorcycle shifter is a good example of a sequential shifter in a way.. Most people get confused with one thinking it envolves the other.. I used to till I thought about it for a while... Now if you've got a sequential shifter and a sequential transmission YOU ARE GOD!
