instead of blocking off the exhaust gasses at the top of the intermidiate housing why wouldn't they just be blocked off from entering it at all. By doing this would the block cool off a bit? or yield any kind of advantage?

oh i also forgot to mention i was reading about the rerouting to the turbo manifold for a "anti-lag" affect. anyone have more knowledge on this?

yeah you could do that, just follow the passage and plug at the other end. the passages are small though so you wouldnt really see any difference

Garfinkle has had all the egr holes welded up on the lim, and put screws in the small holes where the valve goes . The polished SS block off plate is there for looks .
