My rx7 dies after about 3 minutes of idleing and only pulls to about 5500 rpm before sputtering and i have to change gears.......could this be the EGR valve?? Its only been doing this for 2 days or so

YES, The EGR valve if opened at idle will (should) kill your car.

The EGR valve is for tree huggers!

mazdatrix has a blockoff plate for that egr

Block your EGR valve...come to the dark side...unless you live in CA and want to swap it back and forth every 2 years....

This would have been a redundant post as for some reason I posted twice, however in my infinite wisdom I have decided to change this post and make it it's own private little post with it's own feelings and text and message and all sorts of things.
