turbo xs are just cheaper than the hks and greddy ones...they are just as good

who cares what it sounds like......a bov cannot be ricey , unless, like mike stated they have lights or some crap

if your bov goes off and says VRrmMMmmmMmMMm then watever its stupid and pointless

or if you press a button and it goes off to simulate a noise then it is as well

but as for a gush of pressurized air releasing from you intake charge being ricey....no sir

i dont see how a burst of pressurized air from an intake charge can be considered "rice" ...

the turbo xs are just cheaper alternatives to other bov....they are in no way "ricier" or anything...theyre just less expensive because they are made in the states and a less known brand rather than GReddy or HKS

people use price scales to evaluate quality...which is unfortunate sometimes

for a sound clip of my BOV, click the link in my signature.

I too have a TurboXS TypeH-RFL, why do i have it? cause it cost me about $100 for something that won't blow apart like my $300+ HKS SSQV did.

the design is simple and only possible problem is freezing of the piston/cylinder the the chamber which is fixed simply with some pb blaster.

i'll take something for $100 that last longer and is designed better then something that costs $300 and does the same job.

i also originally chose the turbo xs because of price. I needed something quick, so i got it. Turned out i really liked the sound it made, but that really doesnt matter to me. As long as its not that stupid chirp sound, im fine with it. Just get the job done.

I've heard about every BOV out there, and I'm pretty neutral on all of them. I am really interested in the FEED BOV, but I don't know anyone that has it or has heard it. All I know is that it's pricey, which shouldn't be a surprise if you're into FEED stuff. But that's not the point, I'd like some FEEDback....... on it if anyone has any, you know sound, performance. I'm not looking for a bargain buy here, just specs on a high priced, rare JDM piece here.

As long as they (BOV) do the job they are required to do, then I don't have a problem. Some how the HKS SSQ one sound a bit ricey, you can never drive slowly, shift without it making a sound.........EEEEEEHHHHHHRRRRRRR. Had to change mine, I like the sleeper stuff. I now run a blitz.
