ok so here is the deal, i bought a apexi avc-r from a buddy for a extream low price and though i have all the wiring books with it, there is nothing about wiring it up when you go stand alone. now i have everything figured out except for the WHITE speed sensor wire. i would like to take full advantage of this thing but is this even needed as it goes to the cruze harness for mph signal. what is this wire for, if i do not hook it up will i still have full control over boost and just not have gear learn mode? can someone help me out with this one?

we're using an avcr in a haltech car and it learns the gears. sorta depends on the setup of the car, but on this one we're using the gear dependent boost settings, as the stock turbo is having a hard time hitting .8

the speedo head puts out the mph signal and it goes to the cruise control unit. the cruise unit is the easiest thing to tap into
