Was looking into eliminating my stock AST due to leaking. Would it be about the same to elimanate the AST and buy the AST bypass or just get one of the aluminum AST's.

if its leakin...

id stay clear of drivin her until youve resolve the issue..

it has a tendency to explode..

if you do decide to take the elimation route..

i have the m2 elimination kit for sale

Pretty much the reason to keep an AST is for ease of burping the system. Eliminate it and everything is still good, just might take a week to get the air out.
