Acv plate?

i was looking online for mods to do to my rx7 and saw a acv plate,is this some sort of restrictor,whats gains perfromance wise will it do? what does it do for that matter?thanks for the answers

It's to cover up the hole when you remove your air control valve. If you still have a catalytic converter then you'll need it.

so basicaly when i get my down pipe from racing beat and take off the cat ,i do not have to use the air control vavle and i can put on the acv plate? will i lose performance without the air control vavle?thanks for the answers

No gains, it is just an emissions thing.

If you fill in the holes completely and smooth them down you could get a little bit of a boost.

what? how? vac pressure can't go up when getting rid of vac using things right? My understanding was it just cleans **** up, but i also heard that u increase misfires/backfires if u get rid of it, ooopsss too late here :sigh: .

I meant to fill in the holes so that air travels ONLY to the intake ports, not to fill up wasted space.
