You dont need a huge fuel system for 350rwhp. Fuel pump and some 1300CC secondaries are more then enough.

Go with the Power FC ecu. You wolnt regret that. The TKT stuff is expensive. You can get a DP/MP combo from gothem racing for much cheeper, a nice catback of your choice for about 700-800 bucks. You can do intakes for cheep. Get some hardpipes off ebay (all over the place) and k&n filters. 'Nuff said. A FMIC or SMIC will be fine, SMIC is easier and will (most of the time) run cooler.

Get a RAD, Boost controller, and call it a day. You will have 350rwhp with these things. Fullintake, exhaust, BIG SMIC or FMIC, fuel pump and 1300cc injectors, and PFC + some GOOD tunning will get you there.

Then you can spend money on tires and wheels, and the other goodies.
He is right. I love Pettit and will always reccomend their stuff. But there are cheaper options that are just as good.

I do however urge you to keep the upgraded radiator and intercooler. I am one to overdo things when it comes to reliability issues.

Your on the right track.

IMHO I would look for an FD with a blown engine and get a fresh engine to start. A used FD has had a hard life and who is to say it was maintained correctly or beaten on really bad.

My dad picked up a FD w/ Blown motor for $7500. I am sure if you shop around you will find one cheaper.

Yeah,

The Upgraded Rad and IC are a must.

Pettit's stuff is high quality, but they are pricey!

I bought a FD with a reman motor, DP, CP, IC, Intake, and koni shocks for 13k, With that setup i dynoed at 280 RWHP.

With the PFC, and a Midpipe I should be somewhere in the low 300's on a stock fuel system and little tunning. With better tunning I could be at 350 easily.

It can be done for under 15k, you just have to be patient and find the right stuff.

Power FC - 1250

full exhaust - 1000

Intercooler - 1000 Greddy 2 row

intake - $90 all your going to need is 2 filters when you dump the air pump

boost controller - $100 this is for a real good manual controller

professional tuning - $500

radiator - $450

Walbro fuel pump - $110

clutch - $500

There is your $5000 budget and yes at 14psi it will make 350rwhp and run some real high 11's if you launch the **** out of it on some drag radials.

How are you getting a Random Technology High Flow Cat for only $215? The cheapest I've found any high flow cat was for around $350. Let me know because I'd buy a new direct fit high flow cat for around $215.

Thanks
