If I go with 1600 cc Bosch secondary injectors on my 88 T2, can I (should I?) still use the stock fuel rail?

to use the OEM rail on a TII, you will need to modify the top of the injector.

Modify? I don't much like the sound of that. Can you be more specific? Do I have any other choices? Is there a bolt-in secondary fuel rail I can buy that will fit the Bosch 1600's?

Oh, goody! I see K2RD has one for a piddling $200. Let me just squat down here and grunt out a couple of hundred dollar bills...

Modify fuel rail and put resisters in-between the injector clips and the harness. Do you have a stand alone ECU?

Not yet. I'm shopping now.

So the Bosch injectors are low impedance? Can I mix injector impedances with a standalone?

What does the mod to the fuel rail entail?
