I've still got her. Had her out just a couple days ago and took a run up to the boat landing on the James River. I think it was at flood stage last weekend. Down quite a bit now, but still a big muddy river.



I need to find some mufflers. The chrome on the pipes is pretty good, but it's flaking off on the mufflers and they generally look like hell. I'm also considering painting the tank and side covers myself, but I'm a tad reluctant to destroy that groovy 70's original paint.

How much is it to get stuff re-chromed? That might be easier than finding a new pipe in good shape that fits.

I would probably agree if they were the original mufflers in good shape. As low as the mileage on the bike is, the PO saw fit to replace the stock mufflers with some MAC aftermarket ones. I'm pretty sure I can find some aftermarket ones, maybe even a universal-fit type.
