No dude, you arent grasping this. Its not a production vehicle. Its an Enzo on crack, specifically designed and sold to 29 of Ferraris most loyal customers, for basically R&D purposes. The Enzo was initially the FX, this car is the FXX. The FXX is designed to test and usher in new technology for future PRODUCTION cars.

no, you aren't grasping what im saying..
they didn't name the enzo the FX... they named it the enzo.. which is a cool, classy name... if they named the enzo, the fx, i woulda said the same thing.
this thing is like the enzo.. the FXX.. which is a gay name.. even though it's limited, they shoulda named it like something italianish.. blah.
so there are 29 of these bad boys.. how many enzo's were made?

wouldn't you call 29 like limited production? how many mclaren's or enzo's were there?
it can be test all it wants.. but they could have justified the cost with a more suiting name

For something that was never designed to see the open market i think its fine. Other car manufactures do it, and the military does it for every peice of hardware, from body-armor to multi-billion dollar Naval vessels.

If someone insulted you for driving something called an FXX, you should slap the hell out of them out of principle. Their ignorance makes them deserve it. Hell, you can call it a "******mobile" and people would still deseve the slapping because of how awesome the car is.
