Well according the Car and Driver (or wherever i initially saw it) the Enzo was originally the FX. The FXX is actually a test bed, going to 29 of Ferrari's best customers (at $1.95mil a pop) for R&D on future Ferraris.

edit: usually they have relatively classy names, but this just seems cheap.. like tiburon gt, mustang gt, ferrari fx, grand prix gtp, camaro z28, eclipse gsx...

 

I'm sure if it was a production car it would have a better name. But its just a test-bed and Enzo on crack.

i mean, there were even fewer mclarens and they had a cool racing name: F1



FX just sounds like some corny techno 90's thing or a cheap stereo system.

 

FX/FXX whatever.. ******* gay. i can't get over the name, in fact if i had that much money, and wanted to buy a multi million dollar car, that would be last on my list because of the name...

Dude I'm telling you. Its a test vehicle nothing more than that. 29 is the production number. The 29 are already sold.

 

Damn, that is pretty noice. Don't like the front end though.
