I don't know if anyone here has one but I know a few have taken one for a drive. I'm keen on one myself but haven't driven one yet.

I drove one yesterday. If sport through and throughout is what you want, its definately what you get. The turbo comes on fast and hard, although there was a split second of lag between shifts. It pulls hard on boost. Felt more like a mid 13 second car, as opposed to the 14.0@99 mph road and track tested it at. May have been from the lag on shifts though.

The handling is awesome. The car is very tossable, feels very confident, and direction is modulated rather easily with the throttle. I was really suprised at how much even relatively small throttle movements could affect the line. It seemed nothing but planted and always eager hard through the twisties.

As for driving like an upright citizen, its no accord or camry. The turbo comes onto boost with all the subtlety of a kick to the face, making easy and smooth acceleration something you have to think about. Maybe it would fade with being more used to the car, but my time was limited. Its also not the quietest or smoothest riding car out there. But like I said, this is a sports car. This is your RX7 with room for 5.

chevy and dodge don't compare to the STI, EVO or MS6 unless you take price into consideration... they american tuner cars are cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

The MS6 is a great car for the sport enthused mazda owner, but will not keep up with the new STI or EVO.

I personally don't like the MS6 only due to the size, it's too much like a camry (minus the sports car part) for me.. I'm personally waiting to see if they release the MS3. It's all there..the MS6 is using the mazda3 powertrain...so it's not like they don't have what it takes to put the whole deal into the smaller 3 body.. can anybody say 323 GTX? I can see the lil car from the 80s make a come back...

they also can't really compare because of the lack of awd. What is stopping them from doing a ms3 is probably price..why would they under cut their own product..unless they give it like a 150 hp engine. Its sort of like the altima se-r....that **** cost 30k...why not get a 350z, or a upper class maxima.

Some people buy a car for more than the HP number. And then some people drive f bodies...
