I've started looking at the 91-95 MR2T's, and I really like them. Even more than the FC.

Basically the only reason I'd want to keep my RX-7 is because of sentimental value. The MR2 would perform better in pretty much all categories, and I don't care that it's not a rotary. What do you guys think?

 

sell the gtus and get a turbo II



i had a highly modded 91 mr2 turbo ... i love my near stock turbo II a lot more in almost every catagory except quick handling autox turns



if you do get an mr2 turbo....youre in for a ride though - great car and great community



replace suspension on 91-92 as they have a snap oversteer problem....

I second freestyle's notion. I hear that the MR2 chassis are pretty weak, and they have some pretty gnarly flex to them. With that being said I would also go the TII route.

 

the 7 is faster then the mr2 will ever be sorry

well i speak highly of the rx7.... so far i've got three diff.. people looking for rx7s because they saw mine i love them and there all like your gonna be my mechanic for my rx7

 

Good luck finding one though. I tried looking for mr2's also and theyre more rare than 7's are.

 

Go to auto trader and you will find one!

 

mr2's are a real handful when driven in anger, stick with your gtu, or get a T2
