Is very simple to avoid that type of accident. Just make sure you're going faster than everyone else

Is the 3 series known for fires or is it just bad luck for you? I don't plan on getting hit, but I'd like to live through it if I do.

EDIT: Check out these recalls:

75? Damn! I don't think there was much of anything that could help you in that situation.

That kinda looks like my dads BMW. A 78 320 Set up for autocrossing and some kind of body stuff. Looks sweet and gets very good gas milage and handles very nice.

I need to get pics of it. I'll try tomorrow.

I'm more concerned with how it handles in the snow (at high rates of speed and/or acceleration ), which I hear is amazing for the iX, but I think autocrossing in a Beemer would be cool as well.

What kind of budget are you working with cause if you look hard enough you can pick up a WRX for as much as a RS. So why slap a turbo upgrade on an RS and then need a tranny? Why not save a little more and pick up a WRX that can come stock with turbo? I'm not really into Subies so fill me in

my friend has a 2001 2.5 rs. he got a turbo kit for it and its a pretty cool car. the only tranny work he did was a act clutch. he is using a wrx intercooler and t3/t4 hybrid turbo. i think he got it from ludespeed.com. tom does really nice work and he is located just utside of orlando. if you want subie info go to

www.i-club.com

www.nasioc.com

www.rs25.com

the first two links are mostly for wrx stuff now but the third is strictly 2.5's

I was thinking of spending up to $12K on a car, but after looking at the BMW 325iX I think I'll spend less on the car and more on the toys.
