The SP Engineering Supra 7, a Mazda RX-7 motivated by a Supra 2JZ-GTE, is an extreme example of power swapping.

really well done, but a small block carries more power.
pretty car, but i'd rather have a rotary.

For huge reliable power, most of us in the import community will alway's turn to the 2jz. I'm rotary for life, but making that kind of power from a 13b, take's some WORK. More work then I have.

That's a valid point, but I think the real point is that the guys at SP Engineering ripped the heart and soul out of that car.

like i said.... before, we're in NOPISTONS.COM
at least in rotary powered cars.
if you're gunna be sacrelegious anyway....... why not a turbo charged ls6? probably lighter, will make more power, more available, and if you turbocharge it..... no lag

*cough* JIMLAB!

You know supra engines weigh a ton? one reason for them being so strong, and along with two healthy sized turbos i bet it weighs more than jimlabs lt1, if he built up an ls1 he wouldve saved a few pounds.
suck on them apples newb

Its called dyno queen. Do you know just how useless 900 hp is when youre only making 200 hp at 5K rpm?

Sure, alot of MK4 Supra's are dyno monster's, but when those owner's get ball's and hit the strip, like a TON of them have, 10's are almost common place. The comment about them only have a few hundred hp at 5k is baseless. Those that chose to go the large single route w/out nitrous, have the downfall of some lagg. I don't remember anyone ever saying the Supra made huge power on the low-end anyway's. Let's not forget, turbo lagg can be taken care of more then a few way's.

Speaking of sucking and apple's, tell your girl to get off mine. And I got your newb right here bitch
