I saw the comercial for the new Z finally. I have to admit I really didn't give a fock about the release of this car but now that I have seen the commercial I'm thinking about geeting one. They look pretty sick when driving around. I will have to wait to see what they are like in person and see how well they do. But i thinkthis may be a good platform for another fast street cat. Let just hopethey kep the weight down under 3000 lpds. I havent read anything about a turbo application either. I gues only time will tell.

yeah the rx-8 is ugly... but if it does ok they have plans for a next gen rx-7 of that platform. imagine that rotary (250hp) stock with a turbo. now weve got something to wait for. ive also heard they might put the rotary in the miata as well

If Mazda is going to come out w/another RX, they need to get on with it. The 8th version is a joke, too expensive and catering to a market that could care less. Maybe Nissan and Mazda could get together and compare notes, what's wrong w/ another rotary powered sports car under 30k? The class for two seater sports cars is so wide and varied now, competetion between manufacturers should be non exsistent. Prices range from 20k to 500k, like Honda to Lambo.
And the Miata, IMO, is a slap in the face from Mazda, that ugly little **** box,
only paces ahead of a Del SLOW. They would only make it worse by adding a rotary to the picture...

in 2004 the new rx7 is coming out. also in 04 there will be two new miata's, one, with pistons, one, nopistons,(just had to do it). i don't think that the Z will be coming out with a turbo version cause it seems that everyone is going all motor. the new supra is gonna be all motor V-8. 450hp. the R35 skyline. same thing V-8 about 450 hp also. the new RX-7 i've heard it was gonna be turbo, but i'd read in motor trend or road & track that it wasn't. there's plenty of cars coming out the next year or two. start saving !!!!

Does anyone else think it looks just like the new Lexus. I forgot the model the hardtop vert.
I saw a 350Z at the local nissan dealership ant I thought it was a lexus until I got close enough to see the badging.
