Parts are pretty cramped on the mr2's.. I was at the shop working on my truck this weekend, then I helped my buddy change the damn fuel pump on a turbo MR2.. It was hell.. Damn gas tank..

Who would buy a small car like that and think that the parts were NOT tight to get to?

Some guy in my city has a yellow 2nd gen. MR2 turbo. Funny story, my buddy Joel walked up at the local coffee shop and talked to the driver’s friend, I had just pulled up in my TII. More or less their conversion went like this:

Joel: Your buddy has a nice car

Dude: Thanks

Joel: My buddies TII will rape you….

Dude: Dude his cars running 14psi with [Insert 5 page list o’mods]

Joel: Hmmmm

The guy in the MR2 had to go somewhere, but I figure I’ll get my *** handed to be sometime next summer. Unless he blows his engine…

they are only small 4 bangers

apparently really shitty to work on

if you get an older one than 93 suspension sucks (major flaw)

expensive to buy and more expensive insurance

for the loot you would through down (turbo the must have in this case)

the speed isn't matching the price tag. i used to like them a lot till i found out

the specs and what not, their main forum went under anyhow.... scum

I am 6'4"...imagine how I would look in an MR2?! I know a guy here with one and I am impressed with what that thing can do. They definitely have some potential! MR's are pretty common around here, the hard part is finding someone who knows what they are doing with it.

I fit in an MR2 just fine, and I am 6'4", 230 lbs. As a matter of fact, Brandon just sold his for $8,100, apparently.
