im not a new guy, but ill bump this thread anyways, **** it why not? you know you wanna read more, come on who wants a cookie, lol anyways i have a dead 7 and a sbc 350 in my garage, the thought has passed my mind more than once, i love the rotary but i push cars hard, everything i drive except for my daily driver that is, if i push an NA rotary the same as a 350 hp chevy engine, im pretty sure the chevy is gonna last a lot more miles considering i go no higher than the redline for both motors if i had two 7's with each motor, the sbc off the line would be insane considering the torque, that would be so nice in an NA 7, but then again it just cant rev like a rotary, nothing really can in our opinions. i wouldnt trade my dead 7 for the world, i want it to run again, i have **** for cash at the moment but i have a straight sb 350 bored .30 over and can easily hit 350 hp like nothing, but not with an NA and be safe/reliable id say over 40,000 miles or so? there both a different breed, i dont know why size is compared, they are both combustion engines, but they are different in how they operate other than being combustion engines, thats it. i could say my 1.3 liter 13b is 2.6 liters, what would everyone say about that? you'd prob be pissed because i just made our little 1.3's bigger. its the internals that are different and thats what all of us hate and like. in my opinion a turbo rotary has no equal, prob never will, all the videos i have seen, dled, at the tracks, theres just no question about that, but big ******* deal, he put a LS1 in a seven, i wouldnt knock it until you have driven one, you prob be hooked on the torque off the line, something 7's dont have, props on the swap, its clean , looks factory as hell, that **** about the not being a burnout was lame, i seen smoke how bout everyone else, just had to find other **** to bitch about, like me, i dont give as ****, oh yeah, he also put this thread under the correct forum, didnt deserve to get flamed like this given its a rotary forum, but **** he could have put it under 3rd gen or whatever else and acted like he did something wrong, **** being different right? kinda like calling a white guy a whigger/ black guy a ******, just childish as ****, props on the swap man
