Hmmm...that's not so bad...just lost compression on one cylinder.

My bug engine did something kinda like that. It locked up when a pice of the connecting rod got forced through the engine casing hehe! No pics though.

Why not buy your filters from Mazda? They're only a couple bucks more than a Fram-a-ram-a-ding-dong POS filter, and you know that Mazda put it on the damned car in the first place, so its got to be good.



My dad uses Baldwin filters on his Miata and all of the boats we've ever had, so they might not be so bad.
