how bout usin this as a spot to post your dd pics as found in the gen specific forums..

Gen2RXSeven 10-05-2003 07:41 PM

You just want to know what people use as a Daily Driver?

I've got a 91 Sable that I use as Daily Driver

Edit:

Well, only cause my 84 needs a rebuild before I can drive it every day again.

Jims5543 10-05-2003 08:43 PM

I set out to find a DD that would make me feel better leaving my 7 at home. I ended up getting a Mini CooperS John Cooper Works Addition 200HP 2600lbs. = Fun.

94touring 10-05-2003 08:53 PM

Rustang baby!! My sugar mama gets to pick which mini she wants to drive, though sometimes I force her to take the mustang.

Rob x-7 10-06-2003 12:00 PM

holy crap thats some rust on that thing, lol

thats what happens when you bolt on new e-coat panels and

never paint them

Besides my vert,

I have a Jeep Cherokee, Lexus ES300, and a Mazda 6 that I share

with my GF ( meaning I suck up some of the payment on it for her, lol )

I think AMP means OTHER CAR as a daily, not a RX-7, being as this is

the OTHER CAR section.

2003 Jetta GLS 1.8T with sport package. 165whp factory, and a stiff (for VW) suspension and 17" wheels....fun car! Like the picture, but red (I'm at a school PC so no for-real pics of the Jetta)

amp 10-13-2003 01:52 PM

surrendered the passport to the wife this friday..

picked this up.. fwd with tcs..

UniqueTII 10-13-2003 02:13 PM

My "other" (my only until I get the Sport) ride is an '88 Subaru DL wagon. I was doing some work on it the other day and leaned on the fender, crushing it in about 3/4", so I think the rust has taken over. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png I'll probably have to put it to rest after this winter, but I'll be sure to have some fun with it first. I'll put up some pics later.

Even though I got the car for free last January and only have about $400 into it for the last 45K miles, I sure am going to miss it. It's the most reliable car I've ever had and may even be the most fun, since I can beat on it endlessly and it never really breaks.

PhoenixDownVII 10-13-2003 02:48 PM

My 92 LS-Special Integra, picked it up friday. Not even on the road till tomorrow. 30mpg, pretty fun (For FWD's sake), sporty but still has space for friends and equipment...cheap...reliable...

*I will only put stock rims and springs on the car...then i am done*

PhoenixDownVII 10-13-2003 02:49 PM

Hey, can anyone guess all the types of cars that are in the background of my pic (the black integ)???? heh.

Dumbrotorkid 10-13-2003 03:01 PM

mine is a 92 olds achieva that is less reliable than my 7. for example ive blown the engine 2 times in the past year:)

MazdaMike 10-13-2003 03:07 PM

they all appear to be of the Honda variety

UniqueTII 10-13-2003 03:45 PM

One looks like a Galant, and maybe a MKI MR2...or a Capri. Oh, and the SUV looks like it could be a Forrester.

Woot! You got the MKI Mr2 right (its for sale in my sig! doh!)

The SUV next to my Integra IS a Forrester, and that silver car in the back is a Galant...and RobX-7 guessed about the Honda (Accord, beat up AutoX'd car in the forefront beside the galant).

That red car hidden behind the Forrester is the Tercel I am stuck in when I don't have a vehicle of my own registered. (When I've bought/sold in the past and just recently).

UniqueTII 10-13-2003 03:59 PM

I'm good at this game. I never would have gotten the Tercel, though.

Rob x-7 10-13-2003 04:08 PM

I should have looked more carefully, I thought by you saying you were

getting a Acura, and I quickly looked at the pic and noticed the 2 Hondas I right away just said they were all Hondas figuring it was some sort of Honda repair place.

Now I see the Galant ( my gf had one, you would think I would have noticed it sooner, lol ), and I can even see the FORRESTER emblem on the side of the forrester.

SPD Racing FC 10-13-2003 05:27 PM

I have a 2002 protege5 wagon that i love.

How much for the MR2?! That was the first car I noticed, hehe.
