This is the original engine, non modified. The car's suspension is messed up and so's the tranny, I had to pull the mods and modified engine off the car so that it doesn't fall apart since I still don't have anything else to drive.
I sold all the good **** and put the money towards the FD, put the original 80HP engine back in (2.4L HELL YEAH BOI LOL) and had the exhaust fall off. Sad day, but now it sounds mean again without the exhaust. Well, it still has the rpe-cat magically hanging by a thread. |
Dirty as hell, I'm afraid to clean it. It might catch fire or something LOL. But the car has only 89K on it. It's an 86 BTW.

How much for the MR2?! That was the first car I noticed, hehe.
Any other pictures? Mods? Since I am soon buying an FD, I figured a RWD 2-seater as its backup/winter/DD wasn't a smart Idea...so I sold the Mr2 and got the Integra. It has more space, FWD is better off in the winter, and I like the price... Since I've gotten it I put on the stock spoiler myself and got the rims that came on the GS-R/LS-S models...https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR |

OK I finally got a pic of my actual car...I'll post the wife's car also (02 MP5)
|
Damn I couldn't find a picture of the MP5...so here's a pic of the wife's car before the MP5. Same motor anyway https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png THe thing was downright peppy until both O2 sensors died in the same day. After that, we just traded it in for the MP5. It was also an unique Probe because it was a 97 (last year produced) SE, with no SE badging (the big decals) and no molding on the doors. Plus it was a 5-speed, thank god. I gotta find pics of the MP5...that thing is hella nice!
PS: This was the day we bought it, so that's why it's still got the front license plate dealie on it. I took that sucker off immediately after getting it home. |
yeah.... i have a saturn... SL1.... need i say more?
|
Here's my DD, she gets great gas mileage. It's an 05 pocket bike that apc slapped thier name on. I hate apc, they make crappy parts. I get tired of seeing thier stickers across the windshields of cars and trucks that only have cheesy "alteza" tails, and nothing else. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683698.gif
|
Is'nt she beautiful? It came red, stock from pep boys. I did all the prep work, laid out the graphics, and my friend Joey sprayed it for me.
|
my baby, used to be orange, black, and primer grey in some spots https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif i sold it about 2 and a half months ago and just got it back three day's ago or so, they guy brought it back basicly half ass primered with spots of orange showin up everywhere, so i got some more rattle can primer (he used it before and that's all i can afford at the moment) and spent most of the day doin it right, doesnt look too bad now
if no one remembers it, Before: After: |
well the 510 is gone (fried three out of four piston rings and couldnt afford the rebuild) but i got somethin i think is pretty cool in a straight across trade, a 1986 MR2 with a motor swaped in from a 91, a pic of the body (which looks like crap) and the engine

RX-8. Red with the red/black interior. Good daily driver and hasn't complicated my life at all. Good step up from my old V6 Accord that I used to drive.

Nice car Adam.
1994 Ford F-150 for my daily. Cranberry Red. 4.7l 6cylinder. Duel tanks. Gray interior. 161,xxx miles on it. It will last another 140k miles. Sucks up gas though. |
Yeah, I had to change them when I worked construction before. Had to take the bed off to access it. PITA! Good thing. With my new job at Chrysler, if I sell 18 cars, I get a Company Car for 142 bucks a month with full coverage. I will get a Jeep Liberty more than likely(standard feature). And when it hits 4,999 miles, I get a new one. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |

The hose on the filler neck does NOT want to go back on by any means... And I did that when I was working construction, on company time, on a company truck. I guess old F150's are popular in construction? Congrats on the new job. Im waiting to hear back from the mazda dealer. |

Congrats on the new job. Im waiting to hear back from the mazda dealer.
We had 94 to 02s in the shop mainly. You talking about the intank fuel pump right? Yeah, I would have applied at Mazda, but the closest one is about a 1.5 hour drive. Don't want to do that everyday. Besides, Chrysler is just as good I think. A little more luxurious though with that 300, Crossfire, and Pacifica. I might be able to work a transfer to Mazda in about 2 years maybe, or just go straight to Lexus/Toyota. The Toyota dealer through our companies sells around 400 vehicles a month. Hopefully, through your dealers you have a good enough benefit package as I do. Are you going to do sales, or service? |

Got me into rotaries, and I love it. Also introduced me to the wide world of speeding tickets. I chose it over a 350Z and don't regret it. |
I thought I posted here already...

Sales is obviously where the money is at. I have been at the dealership for 3 days only, and have contact info for two people. And those two were from tonight.
One of them wants to get a SRT6 Crossfire, Crossfire Roadster, and the 300 HemiC AWD. That would be a HUGE commission check, because they don't haggle on the prices of those 3 main cars. They might for all 3 though. It is very good money, you just gotta sell obviously. 89 Rag: I still love that S-10. It is the hotness. |

Like I said, Ive considered it, but its not high on my priority list for what I want to do. |
Understood, as long as you know about the amount of money to be earned. I am closer to a sale every day, just takes time. Good luck with Mazda though, I hope you get the job. I wonder if Sales did not work out for me I could transfer to the Silver Spring Mazda. I am no rotary guru, but I am sure I know more than the guys in service. |

Its the knowledge base that you use to go about menial tasks, and how you learn that really matters. Its a lot easier to learn car specific knowledge, than to learn a maintenance "mindset." |
You do have a point there Adam. But some of the guys in our service area are car nuts. They know alot about them. They just don't know **** about rotaries, and don't really need to know about them.
