Yeah i wanted to buy it off my friend but the ******* traded it in and got less than what i was going to give him.

i hear that, my moms family lives in wisconsin and I was out there in July. My cousins friend had a perfect camaro red 56k V8 5sp LT-1 like a 93 I believe and he sold it right before winter for 4k to the dealer. I was going to cry, i want a american beater car that is decently fast but not a rustang

look on www.alltrac.net for info. I have not heard of any Trans troubles with all tracs. It is after all a toyota, and to compare it to a DSM is blasphemy. The one problem the 3SGTE does have is a weak head gasket. put an HKS gasket in there, and it will last a long time. The thing you do have to worry about is the 80's electrical system.

The GT4 never came to the states. last year of the all trac was 1993.

I hear the 325iX is a good winter car. It's a rear-biased AWD system and since it's the E30 body, it's nice and boxy.

Here is the correct idea. However, they are rare and when you do find one they generally have either high mileage or a high price tag. They are bar none the best early 90's late 80's awd car and they don't even need a turbo. The all trac was made in the 4 headlight body style, I looked into buying one in 95. As for the older all tracs, don't waste time with them. the 3SGTE needs more displacement to power an awd platform. I would say, barring the 325ix, go with a galant vr-4, or a first gen eclipse.

Also, I hope no one ever calls an LT1 powered camaro a junker again without good reason, they are stout engine with a good body pinned around them and decent transmissions. If you want an american beat look into third gens 82-91 or late second gens (75-81). They are junk.
