Well I Had a 2 hour layover in New Orleans last night and since I had nothing to do I bought a car magazine. In it, they had top secret photos of the 2005 C6 Corvette. As much as I hate the cars...this thing is going to be a Beast!

New Features:

Cadillac XLR Based Chasis

Longer Wheel Base

LS6 with VVT...... STOCK!!!

425 Hp STOCK!

First Exposed headlights since 63' (could be 62')

Lots and lots of high tech goodies from what I understood. Slowly but surely they are turning the car into a Grand Touring Car.....If it wasn't already

Oh yeah....The C6 Z06 is also being developed. Most likely gonna have a new engine because they estimate a 500 Hp monster!

GM & Ford is going all out in the years to come Lets not talk about the trucks there making the New Ford lightning is coming out with 500HP GM is bringing back the SS trucks to compete with the Lightning. Cobra's & Corvette are making some serious HP stock from 400-500 Stock Looks like they are feeling the heat from the import crowd and they bring out the beast to devour them.

True but the car is still a jap car. I think I would slap anyone who called an Rx-7 a domestic only cause Mazda was owned by Ford

Question

The new vette is based off the cadillac XLR which is based off the corvette, so TECHNICALLY, it's based off itself
