Soon all the car companies in the world are gonna be owned by one or 2 of the current companies so i say let's jump on the bandwagon early!!! I Love (insert ridiculous name of company) cars! Their (2-cyl/3-cyl/4-cyl/6-cyl/8-cyl/10-cyl/12-cyl/Rotary) engines are the best! Huge (horsepower/torque/drivability/style) is EXACTLY what i LOVE! It all looks the same but that's (great/grand/okay), since we can't get anything else! Now who loves (ridiculous car company name again),

(You/Me/We All Do).....

doesn't that sound fricking peachy keen!?!?!?!?

OH, AND I LIKE SMILEYS!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all about the displacement fellas, trust me, if a Japanease automaker would make a PERFORMANCE 5.7liter in a sports car like the Vette, the domestic guys would be in BIG trouble.

I read it fine the first time, and my wtf, was in regard's to your 1,000 smilies. As for me being bitch slapped, I'll take the slap, just as long as they know my pistol will be "politely" hitting them back.

a japanese motor company will never produce a car with more that 280HP....that is the limit for a production car over there i believe...i think the manufacturers fudged the system a little in the early 90' with power #'s to the wheels. i've read that the japanese supras only had 280HP...and we all know that in the us they were rated at 320...

kinda makes you think

also it's still an import, but european companies have been building V8's for a looong time that are producing incredible amounts of power.....lets look at the new BMW M5 and M6 due in 2005. 5.5 V-10 producing a little over 500HP....how many liter is the viper motor? 8.3 liters....and it makes 500HP...BMW has 5.5 and puts down the same #. as far as piston motors go i am in BMW's corner. i just wish that BMW would put out a turbocharged engine from the factory.

exactly.

It was a gentelman agreement. There is no law anywhere stating the power cannot be greater then 280.
