This is a production car. That means it has to last more than 3 weeks in between rebuilds. Please go back to your video games.

Someday's been coming for years...I can wait as long as it takes for you to back up all of your typing skills with some real world knowlege.
I put in the video game comment because you have all of this e-knowlege and you don't have a whole lot of experience turning wrenches, so in my world you're just a worthless little piece of **** who thinks he knows best.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the 300hp Tempo that existed in your head...no really, we believe you.
Really, though, the world needs more people like you. You're an internet database, so if we ever want to know a shitload of internet opinions compiled about a set of wheels or a turbocharger, we can just as you. You're like ******* Jeeves.

Anyways, I must agree with this TII character. I would rather have this 1001hp vehicle than a 20b Single Turbo'd contraption. At least the 1001hp is under warranty, and won't break down when it reaches 200,000 miles.

1) It's a Buigatti. Those of us who really like cars know what that means. VW has done a fair job of bringing the nameplate back
2) It's actually built to go that fast and deal with said power. I've built a 300hp VW Bug at the shop I worked at and it would scare the hell out of you. NOT meant for that kinda power.
3) Technology is neat! 'Nuff said.
Ed and I were discussing this car, oh what a year ago now? Our conclusion was to buy it, go find a cop and blow past them at 140mph then stop. When they get close, blast up to 140mph again then stop. Do this until they're so angry they can't think straight.
What a way to go to jail.

a car like that cannot be compared to another car just because it will be as fast on the 1/4.. the other car with a built up engine will be runnin at redline trying to keep up,. the driver will be hangin on for dear life.. hoping that nothing goes wrong as he goes down the track.. the Bugatti driver will stomp the gas pedal and go down in a straight line.. while probably lookin in the rearview mirror fixing his damn Neck tie.. while he is doin that he will notice the souped up lil car trying to keep up...
why buy a $30k Ducati when a Hayabusa is faster.. Because it rides $14k nicer..
a finer car will go to high speeds.. but feel like it is not movin..

This kind of reminds me of a write up done about what someone did with their FD, not sure if it was here, or the evil forum, perhaps someone could find it. Basically, he had the power part done, somewhere around 500-600 streetable HP, and then proceeded to dump something like $30K into the interior, because he felt that if it ran like a true sports car, it should feel like a true sports car, most people strip out everything from the interior to make the car lighter, he lined the whole interior with dynamat, and black mercedes pile carpet, redid the roof liner in Alcantara, got a pair of Sparco Milano seats, and had Defi make a custom set of brushed aluminum guages to go with his custom dash, when he was done, it looked, felt, and ran like a true sports luxury car, now, you can go just as fast for much less, with a bare metal interior, and everything rattling and shaking, but it will be cheap, and it will feel cheap, I prefer the feeling that I am home everytime I sit in my car.
