Audi A4
#1
Thinking about selling the Accord and getting the new A4, love the way they look. Now Audi is known for the Quattro AWD, so would it be stupid if I bought a FWD A4? I could care less about the performance (FD has that covered). It would probably save me 2k before taxes. I mean does AWD on a 170 HP car make sense? Seems like it just adds extra weight. Does the AWD really make the car any better?

My friend has an A4 FWD. He loves it. I've ridden in it quite a bit, and I would venture to say that the AWD won't make that much of a difference, unless you go with the bigger engine. The turbo spools quickly and the acceleration feels very nice.
Hope this helps some!

AUDI AWD cars are always slower than rwd cars with the same horsepower. Only the start is better.
I race AUDIs nearly every weekend and they are only fast from standing start, when they roll the awd costs power. In rain even my mother's SMART is faster than my FD LOL
