My wife had enough of driving the Quad Cab truck. I had promised her we would shop for a car for her. I had tried to convince her the Mitsu Evo was the way to go but she said it was too ricey. She has a point as to drive the Evo is to love it. To look at it.... well its ricey.
She decided that a G-35 Sedan would be a good car. We went to Carmax and looed at one. I didn't really like it. She didn't either the trunk was small.
We ended up heading over to an Audi dealership. There was a 2001 A-6 Quattro with the 2.7T engine in it. It had a 6 speed manual tranny. Very unusual for a luxury car. We took it for a test drive and it was such a sweet car. It had lots of power and was so smooth.
The car is loaded power everything. It even has a power sun shade for the rear window. Built in garage remote dual zone climate control.
I was initially shopping for a brand new car but after seeing how bad my Dakota depreciated after 2 years buying it new. I will never buy as brand new car again. I will wait until they are 2 years old and done with 50% of their depreciation.
Here are some pics, they are taking care of a few minor flaws that I did not like so we are picking it up Tuesday next week.

Very nice. And exactly like the car my wife drives, except she didn't want a manual tranny in her daily driver. The 2.7 T makes 250 HP. We've had ours since new and had no real trouble in 20k miles.
I decided to keep the dakota since its paid for and buy a 25K used A-6 instead of a 40K+ new one. Now I have 4 cars.
TII, Mini, Dakota, and A-6.
Anyone want to swap insurance premiums?
The good news is we got 1.9% financing on the A-6 for 36 months. Its warrantied until 100K miles or 3 years, we bought it with 42K miles on it.
My TII is being exiled from the Garage to make room for the A-6. I plan on keeping it at the office. I have a bay ready for it at my new shop.
