20g's huuu.. Get a 93-94 supra Twin turbo. They sell used for around that. They are hella fast strait out stock. I had a at. 93 that went 13.4 @108 bone stock. And 12.46 @117.9 with 1500$ in bolt ons. Or by being on here I would think you already got a rx-7. If not that would be a killer bang for the buck,if you could find one in good running conition. + you would have sevral grand left over for mods. Make it a viper killer. Me , I'v down graded to a tsi awd 93. love the power I'v been able to get out of it but the car is not at all as good looking as a supra or rx, also the hadling is a far cry from thouse two cars

lag should be no problem for the gti, i used to have an a4 with the same engine in it had little to no lag at all. the turbo on it was pretty small, so spool up time was minimal.

the gti's are nice, a friend of mine had one. pretty blue and red gauges at night. let us not forget the fine leather, heated seats, and a very decent factory stereo. drove very well also.

cool finally a good response... yea im probly going to get one. i just read on some other site that you can get tokico shocks and springs as a dealer option for less than 500 or something like that. and considering the main complaint about the gti isnt power but soft handling i think that would be sweet
