So here's the story so far

1 new alternator

1 new serentine belt

1 new windshield

1 new horn and associated wiring

1 new battery

1 new exhaust

500$+ later, my car is STILL not legal, i got fucked and fucked hard

gonna call the guy tomorrow and take the ******* POS back....or at least

get the price of the alternator and winshield and exhaust back, the alternator

burnt this morning while i was warming it up, got stranded and had to buy an 85$ battery (Interstate).......The upside is it runs great, the motor anyway (i found out the

motor in it came from one of my best friend's brothers car today, he tested my alter-

nator and mentioned the motor used to be his, he works at O'Reilly) i need to get the front end aligned and the tires balanced (if i keep it) the rest can be taken care of at

U-Wrench-It...BLEH, and this car has so much potential (compared to the Taurus) and I have so little money...

It took 2+ hours to get the alternator/belt on, the belt tensioner was being ghey, and they give you about 1/4 of an inch to work with......I still haven't hooked up the horn, or ran the wires, the g-friend is out getting pizza and putting gas in it ATM..bleh

Question

Anyone know how to adjust the idle on that damn car?....it needs to be upped a tad bit, as it likes to die in reverse for some reason, no other gear, just reverse...
