16v Sciroccco

Coming from someone who has been around people that are constantly blowing up vw's stay away from corrado and sciroccos if you are thinking about running them hard unless you feel like doing work on vw's. corrados seem to lose their boost after a while. With sciroccos its not as serious but some smaller parts in the engine bay go bad. Trannsmissions on vws are **** to go bad. If you need any more info stay away from vwvortex we think its the evil forum go to dubsquad.net.

If you go for a corrado get the VR. The g in G60 stands for grenade cause that is what they like to do . They are prone to failure and kind of expensive to fix.
Rocco's are cool my friend has an 8v and the thing runs great. Just like any car as long as you take care of it, it will run forever.
Another friend has a Rabbit that we swapped in a 16v they have some pretty decent power for a 1.8. We may be swapping in a 2.0 16v due to the dumbass trying to race a WS6 and accidentally down shifting.

the g does not stand for grenade. my friend has a g60 with 121,000 on it. still boost fine. yes it has some issues and if you dont change the charger timing belt it will bite you. but coming from a rx-7 forum where everyone outside of the group says the "the 7 lasts 5,000 miles and then you need to rebuild it!" suprised that people say the same thing to other people about their cars
