I test drove an '03 Protege ES today cuz I'm still looking for a dd....

...these cars are VERY nicely built. I was impressed. I drove the ES w/ the 2.0L on it...first person to drive it, it only had 2 miles on it, lol. I want it sooo bad now. Factory 16s, good acceleration(its no rotary), tight steering and no body roll w/in city limits(didnt take it on many twisties)...overall I loved it...Mazda keeps doing everything right! I will hopefully go back tom to purchase

yah, those are nice cars. mazda took us to candlestick park and made us autocross everything they had (even the truck!), and they also had a honda and toyota. the protege's actually handle really well :bigthumg:

What do you do for Mazda? Besides getting paid to auto-x.

my take on the P5 is that it looks awesome, but it really needs a "boost" in power
