Yeah the Saleen's are over price especially the S281-E 60K for a new one. With that much money I can buy a used RX8(maybe two years from now) & a used 03 Cobra or a Used Supra MKIV. Saleen is a separate company from Ford they specialized in mustang since 1980's. It's like the Veilside or the Stillen. They over price the Saleen's. With that amount of money I can build a car three times as fast as the Saleen. Some people the filthy rich ones are mainly the ones buying it(S281-E).

 

Ahh.... man you haven't been around any road course haven't you. The 03Cobra has a great ability in slalom especially with the new shocks and the IRS system. The 00Cobra R will out run a lot of it's competitors in the road course( Supra, RX7, 300ZX, CamaroSS, Corvette C5) in stock form of course.
