For the price of the Z06 I will take the Cobra...

also Dyno tests are pretty much saying the Cobra is under rated...

425hp is the real figure.... 20hp more than the Z06... also when the air filter is removed and lightning pulley is used on the supercharger that figure jumps to around 480hp. This is before exhaust!! No chip!! Just the pulley and air filter!!! Pretty impressive.... will take a bit more mods to the Z06 for it to catch back up. ANd I can just imagine what kind of hp the 03 Cobra would pick up with an Fr500 exhaust. When that exhaust was placed on an N/A 01 Cobra hp jumped 16hp at the wheels...

So I think I will take the Cobra and keep the 15Grand in my pocket to kick the Z06's ***........

Supercharged or not it is hard to deny that level of hp!

I met a dude with a '03 Cobra. He dynod stock and had 373 at the wheels. He put on a bassani x pipe and a borla cat-back and dyno'd 395 at the wheels.

He is doing the pulley and and chip and will see 425 at the wheels.

Yeah Yeah finally Ford made some hp. I guess they learned their lessons from the 99 Cobra mess and I hope they learned something from alll the blown intercoolers on the Lightnings. By the way Add a SC (Vortech) to a LS1 and you can get 460 to the ground. Ford still uses a little v8. But now that the F-body is gone it doesn't matter. And the Rustangs sit too high.
