thx to keith, kompressors dad for the engine (it works great) kompressor for telling me about the engine and doing the trade, and speedrated for helping and also our fearlious leader kettleman and also fc/dc i got the engine in and it runs like a champ, a few minor problems but easy to fix. the car is a 1980 first gen 5 speed. i luv it alot better than my second gen. anyway it is at my house until i get tabs so i should have it at the next meeting next month, so u all can see it. it needs alittle work inside and out but it is a car to drive.

Glad to hear it Hal. I think you'll find first gens are so much easier to love than second gens. So how about posting up some pics.

yeah, I know what you mean about enjoying the 1st gens. I found that my 1st gen was easier to drive and handled better than my 2nd gen. Only real downside for the 1st gens for me is that I really don't fit in them all that well.

I am set on going with a TII when I get a 7 again. Will be down the road a little ways but I fit in the 2nd gens better and after driving my first turbo'd car I don't want to go back.

I will post some pics here real soon i cant get on my computer to get on here so i have to use my sisters computer, my computer keeps redirecting me to other bs sites. why i do not know. but it doesnt do it for anything else i get into, but ill work on that later.

but i tell u what my new car is very very fast and i have to take it easy with this one, it burns rubber right off the get go, no matter what the weather conditions are.
