okay, i was just wondering. I know Ddub is the new mod and boast of trying to bring the forums back to what it used to be. But yeah, I just wanna know where we stand as a group and family unity.

Once I felt some people have been wronged, especially if they were once good friends, I dont care what happens now, its respect and unity I look for. I am glad we all stand together.

Man, I dont work my 12hr shift anymore, I work mon to thrus 5pm to 3am. I had to take the schedule to finish school in the daytime. So I can not make it. I have weekends off all the time now. I need to get me a new carb, the other week when I went to put a new battery in it ran like crap. It shot flames thru my tII hood scoop a few times. Once I get that taken cared of, I gotta get the exhaust done and the some of the electrical stuff (wiper/tail lights) Man I wanna roll to ABF in my rx7.. if not, my m30.

gotta see my friend's co worker will let me spray my car at his place.

Ah... I finally understand now.

Two days ago, Boostd7 (Ryan) posted on a thread started by SonicRat in the lounge, and Ryan again stated that he has been served papers from the Atkinses lawyer. Ryan implied that those papers demanded that he shut down all criticism of the Atkinses on the rx7club.com website, and of course as we all know, that is exactly what he has done. The complaints about the Atkinses have come from all over the country, not just the Northwest, and they are valid complaints, but such complaints are no longer allowed on that website.

I now see what the rest of you have already seen. Any of the sponsors of that website can get what they want. Ryan can easily solve this problem by divesting himself of the income that he receives from the sponsors, but he will not do that, probably for two reasons - the amount of money he receives from the sponsors is significant, and also when he decides to sell the website he can ask a higher price because of that income. That website is run as a pure business now (and has been for some time), and any complaints about the sponsors are a threat to that business, but you will never see those words on that website. Sonic did a great job of trying to draw Ryan into a discussion about that, but Ryan is too business-savvy to give the game away.

Sorry it took me so long to understand that..

Do you really think they served him with papers? I don't think they did, I think its just a way that Ryan can justify all thats happened.

truth though, I dont like how he handled everyone's issues. Maybe there is something behind the scenes, but these are legitimate complaints, and I pointed that out. he just didnt want to deal with it, so it was ban or shut up. All I know is that there was some strong armed tactics on that forum and I felt it was wrong. I know he obviously felt the mass exodus and got another mod/mods (nothing against them). I see that they wanna make it like nothing is wrong/no issues. To me, I aint biting.

Even if they did, that's just a opening legal tactic any ambulance-chaser would make, regardless of how absurdly unenforceable it is. I can't see why Atkins would bother to do so. More likely a simple PM stating they'd withdraw sponsorship $ if the negative voices weren't silenced was all it took. Ryan Scott is hardly some sort of rotary stalwart; he's all about the page views, and nothing but. All of his "it's a legal matter" threads are misdirection from the fact that he's silencing critics for money.

dDub is a pompous ***. Being one myself, I have a knack for identifying them. The forum will hardly have improved under him.
