OK I plan to make it, too. See what my little stock NA can do.... or least what it can do with a slow old guy behind the wheel!

Hope I don't smoke my clutch!

Ok seriously who is going to make this event. The summer is starting to wind down. Which means we are running out of time. This is for bragging rights for the rest of the year. 35 bucks is the most it will cost, 25 if you already have a tech card. If its runs, just race it, you can put on that monster turbo this fall, or do yours bridge port later this year. These are sports car, if you are not flogging then every couple of weeks, then why do you own it?

The more people we can get out the funny it will be. now is your chance to see what your last mod netted you. Slam some gears, and burn some fuel. We are fortunate to have a drag strip close by, along with other forms of motorsports, yet, very seldom do we do anything together as a club. I guess I dont understand how we can get 25 peope together for dinner, but only one or two together for a motorsports event. That just seems totally backwards to me. I thought we were enthusiast about our cars.

i THOUGHT i WAS GOING TO MAKE A SMART A$$ED COMMENT!

Oddly enough, I have seen similar results in other car clubs. Only a few show up to road races or Autocross, but everyone is there for food or beer.... hmmm maybe I shouldn't be suprised...
