I was wondering how often I should adjust my 1980's rear drum brakes. Anyone with some helpful insight would be greatly appreciated.

hey Geoff, from what i know is

you put the shoes on. adjust them buy hand tell you can fit the drum back on tight. go drive the the car around to warm them up. then you drive in reverse and hit the breaks a few times . and they should self adjust.

im no pro tho... hope this helps ya
