Post of the Year nomination for CODE BLUE 2.

Thank you for your reply to my post, 89 Rag. Very comprehensive, and the last sentence in your first paragraph sums it up well. I appreciate your response.

And just as Jmmes thinks Pineapple is a stand up company, I beg to differ after I was sent 2 engines with sub-quality components and the engines were assembled incorrectly. No business is 100% all of the time, but; I got tired of listening to Rob Golden's excuses as to why my engines were not what I paid for.

Just for historical accuracy, I was not the only person in the US who receive substandard engines from Pineapple during the same time frame. Search and learn.

The Engine builder (Stan of SDJ Motorsports) who witnessed the disassembly of my P-Port was less than impressed with the condition of the Engine Pineapple Racing sent to me. Used Apex Seals instead of new. (pineapple claimed they had less than 2 hours run time on them). No Oil Squirters installed in the E-Shaft. Mismatched Rotors, Excees Silicone in the oil pump. An Oil Pan baffle that lookes like a 3 year old did the welding.

So there is always going to be good and bad of every company (including my own).

From now on, do your research and make educated decisions. Make sure you clearly understand ALL of the warrenty. Make sure your engine builder understands ALL of your expectations.

people are all people, no one is going to get everything right everytime, but i do believe that when something is wrong it should be fixed, and dont correctly, and make things right again... some places just wont do that
