IIRC I picked up the pro-comp series. I think that the total was 51 or so for the gauge...I was shocked how cheap it was.

Thanks for the info Chris.

Looks really good Z...Ive been following along to see what its going to take to change blue over. Those hoods are cool huh. This is going to kill me huh....lol

I wish when I first got my car I would have gone turbo instead of this Camden setup. Well it was a experience anyway.

Thanks. There are a lot of man hours into this project. And not all by myself. I was going to thank everyone that helped me when the car was up and running but I might as well do it now because they deserve recognition.

Woundup7: Thanks for the help with the tranny modification. It really turned out easier than I suspected however there were skills that you posess that really made the job easier. Not to mention I do not have a welder.

RMRiggin: Well thought I would throw this out there. I know that you are going to most likely help me out. Well that is if everything works out between our very busy schedules. When it comes down to it I hate wiring and it scares the crud out of me.

Kettleman: Thanks a lot for being that pain in my **** You always seem to remind me to get my butt going on the project. Also dismantiling of both cars (FD and SE) and all the other small stuff that seemed to take forever.

Also all those who have been an encouragement to me. Seeing your rides and hearing you pester me has seemed to really get me on the ball.

Ok now that I have got that out of the way, Codeblue2, don't worry about it. I am very confident that you will love the turbo more than your old setup. You will have both hp numbers and the amount of excitement as before.

As for the hood, yes it is my favorite hood and I love the look of it. I am not purchasing that hood and my design looks slightly different but essentially it is the same concept. I will have to post some pictures of my progress when I get a chance. It looks pretty cool. I have to admit though I have always been a fan of clean and simple however this hood really catches my eye. I hope that it does not change my perception.

All fabrication on the hood will be done in house and should be pretty simple. I think that most of the hard work is done now with the cutting. Not it is time for bending, welding and then paint.

Well its set for Blue to go under reconstruction on March 4th. I hope anyway if everything goes well. I really need your input though Z....so I can pass this along.

If I don't do this now, then I know I will change my mind. You know when people say they are done with their car....well its a lie

Motorcycles are dangerious......

Ha, thanks hal. I will hopefully not need a ride though. Last night I went down to HP connection with Allan. He was a super cool guy and it was fun to putz around and talk with him.

We SERIOUSLY need to have a dyno day there. Lots of space and a cool guy. I will let Allan get into the specifics though.

Any who...the turbo that he had sitting on a customers car made mine look like a baby. And he was like...aww that is nothing. Mine is bigger. Seriously I should have taken a picture it was insane!

Well I picked up 3 3" 90's. They don't make elbows in 3" unless you go cheap ebay type. But the wall thickness is smaller etc. I took the pipes home and cut em' up last night and fitted them in the bay. I will have to put up some pictures of how the pipes are going to set. full 3" looks pretty good.

You will have to excuse the pictures because nothing is welded as of yet and nothing is polished. I also ordered a 4" 45 for my turbo inlet so I could re-direct my air cleaner so I am going to get the pipes welded up when I head down there again.

Ok, I have been working on the gauge pod that will hold the Boost gauge. Gauge is a Autometer Procomp 2 5/8". Proved to be a tight fit.

Pod is completely custom. And (me being the **** person I am) I am not fully happy with the outcome. I plan to make a fiberglass mimick in the future, however this will have to do until the car is complete.
