IC piping done now? Looking good, You weren't shitting about those welds! I am looking forward to wiring up the ECU when I get time. It is just a scarry task whenever I look at it (maybe I can email or talk to Gary Brooks and get some pointers?!). I want to get that thing ready for ABF just as much as you do... Oh yeah, I got a surprise for everyone at Izzy's tomorrow... See you then!

I don't know about quick work. It seems to be taking forever for the amount of hours that I have put into it.

I have heard only good from the tial 50mm. They are reasonably priced IIRC.

I would really like to see your bikes send me a PM with pics if you get a chance. They are turbo'd right? Hell throw them up in this post so that everyone can see if you want.

That 3rd gen harness is a mess. It spanned from one end of the garage to the other when fully unwound. So I feel your pain on this one. This is part of the reason I went with the microtech and harness...so so clean!

Wow, looking good. I wish that I had an r6...has always been my dream bike. As the years progress I have always wanted one. Even with all the new bikes they come out with.

UPDATE:

Last night I started to make the modifications in the hood. It is kind of scary cutting up your only hood. I took the measurements 5-6 times though so I think that I am ok. When I first made the marks they were not lining up and it was really frusterating me because it did not look symmetrical. However since then I have corrected the problem and all is ready to go.

Much of the sub-structure has to be cut out. I was a little afraid that this would affect structural integrity however after thinking for a little decided that with the sides that are going to be welded I will probably nmot have any issues. When I get a free chance I will weld it up and take a picture. It should look pretty cool. For those that know what the mantis hood(rotorhead.ca) looks like it will be pretty close.

Here are a couple pictures of what I am going for.

my gauges are autometer, sport comp line, They have been the standard forever. You can get them pretty cheap through summit or jegs.
