I think ill go to ground zero, Ralph is one of the few people on the west coast who has the expereince of tuning rotarys to over 700 hp. Cant really go wrong there. Does Gary have a lot of experience with higher hp cars? I didnt know Cork sport even had a dyno.

AHhhh tooo close I must beat you to the street. Then hope fully on the street. You're going to have to launch in third gear with all that darn power!

Actually you can do it. The car is actually pretty much ready to go back on the street. I am just waiting for a belt. SR motorsports sent Corksport the wrong belt with the kit.

I am going to wait until next sat so that I don't have to make 2 trips to Gig Harbor. We could have easily had it started today but there was no way we could have done tuning without the belt.

Talk about down to the last days on getting our projects up and running and ready. Seems to be a yearly thing now. I'm sure you are feeling the same way as I am right now. Mixed feelings thats for sure, but crossing my fingers for you and I for a happy ending.

Good luck Z

I was at Gary's until 10:30 last night trying to figure out why the car was overheating. We have changed so many things that it is almost funny. The car seem to be doing fine(even when I am boosting hard) then all of a sudden bam the heat comes. I can get about 10-15mins of driving in before this happens. No here is where the strange part comes in. The sensor on the back of the Microtech is sensing that there is no water in the system sometimes. Which is an instant indication that there is an air pocket. But where? We bled the system and it was perfect. After the final drive last night me and Gary were sitting around the car scratching our heads and came to relaization that the catch can was the only thing that was part of the integrated system and had air in it as well. So what we think is happening is that some of the air from this tank is going through the lines and causing the system to overheat. It is an easy fix but since Gary operates out of his house I did not want to wake his neighbors. My car is not exactly quiet. I am going back tonight and hopefully to the dyno before ABF. I need some dyno time before I get up on that dyno.

While I got it out though I have to admit that I really got to pour into the throttle. I was in second gear and at about 4k I stabbed the throttle and the rear end started to slide out. This thing is faster than my dirt or street bike. A fun little ride.
