if you dont swap all the hardlines from the tank to the firewall it will be pointless. the hardlines are the same size as the pickup on the gsl-se the 12a hardlines are tiny

Well the change went over great, it took most of the day.

And yes the GSL SE has a 1/2 inch feeder tube. I was shocked to seethe size difference between the two tanks.

The SA has a bigger spare tire tray than the FB, so you have to use longer bolts to get it to fit right.

anyways it all worked out in the end. The car idles way better now. You can totaly tell the difference just from changing the tank.

I would like the thank Jesse and Brian, for spending their day helping me figure it out.

I think jesse had the most fun....

Nice to hear that the tank swap went well. Now Blue can get all the fuel she craves!

I hope that doesn't cause problems for ioTus. I remember when we were putting it together, Robert from Rotary Shack was very glad that everything was going into a GSL-SE because of the large fuel tank and stuff... suppose you could get another one if you had to. *shrugs*

The pick up line on a gsl is fine for IoTus's carbed application. IoTus doesnt have near as much power as Blue has now. It was either sacrifice Blue not running right, or doing this change over that is fine for both cars. IoTus is running just fine still.

IoTus has had to have a lot of work done to it lately. This summer there are plans for some changes to the car. Stay tuned

Except that it's a TURBOED carb. Hope it doesn't start running too lean now or not get enough fuel at top end. That would be bad...

Really sucks seeing ioTus as the "Red Headed Stepchild" like Kettle said.

What kind of stuff has had to be done to it? Aside from it was leakin a bit of oil out the front cover and the gaskets were replaced? Just curious... been a long long time since I worked on that car. I put my heart and soul into it, so did Geoff.
