feel the radiator when you know that the engine is warm. if there are cold and hot spots on the core than you got some blockage. for example most likely the top of the radiator will be hot but the further down you feel on the core will be cooler.

does hot water come out of the engine from the top or the bottom of the water pump. so does teh radiator flow top to bottom or bottom to top?

Funny, I am experiencing some of the same problems. Thermostat? Something blocking the radiator?

So before work I let it warm up to mormal opperating temp and then sit. It did not overheat at all with the hood open. I ran it for about 15-20 minutes with the hood open and radiator cap off. The water was not flowing through the radiator like i was expecting. it looked like a pool the water was just kinda splashing around like waves through it. And it's a really rusty poop brown color. I've flushed it thrice now and it keeps turning that color. But it's not black exhaust color like it was with my old engine. Tomarrow I'm going to try swapping the s3 water pump back inand see if that helps.
