id have to say its flodded as ****, there is probably no oil at all in the combustion chamber, and you know if a rotary doesnt have oil in the chamber it wont fire at all. it has to be something simple. its possible your plug wires are crossed somewhere, or the plugs are bad. and i can tell you right now, that as soon as you hit boost on the holley fp the car will fall on its face, this is coming straight from the GURU of weber blowthroughs (robert from RS) he said it should start fine with the holley but the holley absolutley will not take boost.

i think we should take the UIM off and pour a quart of mmo into the combustion chamber hand spin the motor and try from there. we should also test the igniters and try starting it with a stock dizzy and the msd disconnected. its got to be something simple

you have compression

you have fuel

you have spark

use the process of elimination

its got to be something that was modified or changed from what you had before. my money is on the dizzy.

you also need to get that holley out of there and get a gsl-se fp or a walbro 255.

we will get this car to run, stop talking about selling it and destroying it. thats nonsense. im sure my 4 years of personal experience and a few phone calls to robert we can get this bitch running.

hit me up tomorrow and ill see if i can head up.

Well I'm about to go try again. If you want to come help feel free. I'll be at it all day. I think it's just ubber flodded. that's the ony possibility. The Holley will be fine at stock 5psi. that's all I'm going to run it. and I still don't have a charge pipe. I just want it to start n/a first.

Ignition is fine. I know that for sure. when i grounded the plugs it was sparking like a mother! I think it just has to be uber flooded. there is no other excuse. I guess with the old apex seals it's just not pushing all the old fuel out of the engine. I mean 14 psi on a weber gas was litterally pooring out of the front of it, so it was going into the engine too...

I'm with gregs on this one. IF you can squirt a bunch of MMO into the leading plugs. Pull the fuses. Crank it a few times. Than try her again. I know ehn mine floods it does pretty much exactly what you are describing. When I pull the plugs the leading are dry but the trailing are soaked. Push starting is usually a sure bet when mine floods, but the only other way I have been able to get it to fire is by pulling the plugs and pouring in a couple tablespoons of MMO or ATF. Wish I was closer so I could lend a hand. I got a **** ton of homework to do. I will check the forum too see if you have made any progress though.

Once again... Good Luck!

I took of the upper intake manifold and poored about 5 teaspoons of oil down each port. HA AHHA AH I'm going nuts with this ****.!!! then put it al back togather and cranked it without the fuel pump on then tried to start it and still nothing... I'm at a loss. Hope fully my one friend with a truck will come over and give me a pull!

Have you done a ghetto compression check yet. You have spark, and tons of gas, I guess that is about the only thing left, Unless your timing is way off. Just throwing **** out there. Also trying spinning it with the battery charger still on, that should speed up the revs a little more.

Robert said the compression is just too low being a rebuild to unflood it. He said I need to psh start it. I'm just at a loss to try and find someone to tow my car to the op of my hill. then I'm sure it'll start on the roll down. I can get up to 40mph in a neutral roll down.

Can anyone give this man a push? Come on, it would be a good Easter activity. I am sure you have used His name enough about that car. Maybe He will bless you and get you to stop cursing LOL!
