Ok so,

I have a stock 1991 rx7.

Would it drastically increase my emissions levels if i were to eliminate my catalitic converter with a cat-replacement pipe?

I mean to a level which I would not be able to pass the emissions test.

My car already passes with flying colors as is, I'd just like to know cause I'd really like to swap out all my exhaust with something more free-flowing.

Thanks,

Tom B.

I think you need the Cat to pass. Then take it off for 2 years until you need to do the test again. One added bonus to this is you KNOW the cat is good for the test.
