Driving/meeting Directions For Aug11th

Hi,
These are the driving/meeting directons for the Aug 11th "Cruz" car show.
If you haven't contacted me yet to reserve a space please do so before Aug 3rd, as its a big show, car space is at a premium and we have to let the Saints car club know how many cars we will have.(You don't have to have a show car to enter/park in the show, a daily drive is fine, as long as its rotary powered.) It looks like so far that we will have a good rotary turnout with all three gen's of RX7s well represented, maybe a pickup or two, and hoping for some RX2s,3s or 4s(bring them if you got them.)
For more info on the Cruz you can go to the Saints car club web site at: Saintscarclub.org This will give you info on restaurants & motels, plus pics of past shows. They expect 30 to 35K people and 700+ cars. For those who want to camp or have trailers, Manchester State park is just a couple of miles from the show(they have camping spots and trailer hookups, its got lots of trees and is right on the water) You can make reservations at Manchester State park on the Washington State Parks web site.
The following are driving/meeting instructions.
Take I-5 to Tacoma
In Tacoma, take the Bremerton exit(Hwy 16)
Hwy 16 will take you across the Tacoma narrows bridge.
About 14+ miles after the bridge, take the Sedgwick Rd exit
Turn right onto Sedgwick Rd.(you will be going east)
At the second stoplight on Sedgwick Rd take a left onto Bethel Rd.
Just before the second stoplight on Bethel Rd you will see a Safeway store on your right
Take a right into the parking lot of the Safeway store,as this is the meeting place.
We will be meeting between 6:30am and 7:00am, and leaving for the show just after 7:00am Sorry this is so early, but even with reservations the good parking areas go very early.
If you are later than 7:00am:
Take the Tremont exit off of Hwy 16(its the one just after the Sedgwick exit)
Take a right onto Tremont and get in your left lane right away.(you will be going east)
Drive down to Sidney Rd and take a left(its about a mile to Sidney from hwy 16, and you will be going north after turning onto Sidney)
This will take you down to the show, and tell the registration people that you are with the Rotary Rockets/Rotary cars.
It is $10 to enter a car in the show, free to view the show.
If anyone is going to take the washington ferries to the show, you can email me for schedules/driving instructions
